App sync with the with the USB only no Bluetooth sync only Bluetooth audio

Just downloaded the App because my in trailer Sony radio stated that I could control it. HA! Only menu items we Maps and Pandora. No equalizer control, no tuner control and etc. Most of my home equipment is Sony, but it is probably my last. Sony get your act together.

App needs to be updated to be visually comparable with latest iOS. Also, buttons such as: preset stations, seek, tune, volume, am/fm would be very helpful (current controls dont work). The ability to rename sources would also be nice. Possibly add some additional app integration for new poplar apps. Thank you.

I cant express how much I love the idea behind this app; however, I am completely frustrated with the quality of operation this app has to offer. It constantly crashes, often doesnt even connect to or register that its connected to the stereo via USB, and LACKS DESIGN FUNCTIONALITY... Come on Sony!!!! How do you guys keep coming out with NEW app remote compatible stereos, when you guys cant even UPDATE YOUR APP!? I realize this is a review and not a complaint, but I cant resist... I got this app for the sake of using it for my iPad stereo conversion and I cant express what a buzz kill this was upon completion of my project One Suggestions I must make is a stationary volume knob, not something I have to search for.. For those of you considering this for an iPad project, I suggest you look into Scosche controlFREQ... Its not exactly Sony brand; however, they at least have better reviews. Im most likely switching because of the lack of quality in this app... Way to drop the ball Sony!... =(

Fast update for 5s and app for iPad as fast as you can!!!!!

This app caused both my iPhone 5s as well as the Sony in-dash unit to lock up and require factory reset! Without the app, everything works just fine… So do not use this app!

I purchased this radio then updated my phone, now I cant use the app. Pleaseeeeeeeee update the app.

After updating my iPhone to iOS 9 Youtube is no longer available in the app remote

Looks like this app is completely useless now with the latest updates of iOS. The app crashes completely so you can no longer use it. This makes my iPad dash install completely useless with the Sony head unit. Have to look for a completely new system because of Sonys negligence.

This app is garbage, just like most SONY products. It is only getting one star because Ive gotta give it one to let people know.

This app worked pretty well when I switched to my iPhone 6. Much better than my 4s. Now, since the last two or so iPhone updates the app doesnt work well. It doesnt pickup my Sirius radio and crashes when playing Pandora. I dropped my original rating from 3 stars to 1 because there have been zero improvements or updates to this app for way to long. Sony doesnt appear to be supporting this anymore so Id suggest looking at a different system that doesnt use this app for stereo and phone control in your car. Its too bad because it was cool while it lasted. Now Im considering another system but not a Sony.

I just had the stereo installed and found the app to be ok, sparse, yes, could have more options, yes, but very functional, does all I need, great equalizer and sound options, really love the positional function which optimises sound for where you are sitting. I wasnt expecting much but am happy with it, considering they had to write an app for a competitors hardware when its designed for their phone I think you have to expect it to be on the sparse side.

Its a good app but needs to be updated. I used to have all functions on iOS 8 but when updated to iOS 9 those functions disappeared. Sony update your app!

One good thing about this app: You can control the equalizer, which is a pain in the butt to do with the head unit buttons. But we’re coming up on two years without any kind of update, which is disappointing. It’s better than nothing, but don’t expect to be impressed.

Sony, are you aware that iPads exist too? Come on! Im so disappointed. I think Ill switch back to Pioneer or Keenwod instead.
